Scam emails

One of our members has alerted us to a scam emailer they recently had correspondence with: The scammer is using the following email address: jessicawendy001@live.co.uk

The scammer will send pictures of other breeders bengal kittens. An example of the scam email is below

Hello,

Thank you for the email and interest. We are Bengal cat sellers based in our Lincoln Shire family home in the island’s Victoria Kamerun. We sell home raised pedigree Bengal kittens under my GCCF registered prefix.

Bengal Cats brands like wildcats. They have a wonderful attraction exotic and exclusive, amazing intelligence, energy and a love for fun.

Our cats include some strains produce rare and fabulous kittens. We spend a lot of time to show around the country as can be seen by our numerous awards. We have their first lines in all the colors gold, silver, brown, snow

We breed kittens in professional conditions in our family home. The kittens are treated like animals in the house until sold and leave for their new home at 13 weeks of age. All kittens are fully vaccinated, GCCF registered and microchipped and come to any home with all the documents prepared, including some menus food and toys.

We welcome anyone who can give our kittens a loving home. We can also tell you more about this species of cats if you are not familiar. If you are interested in buying a kitten then please do not hesitate to make a choice among images contact below.

Missing Bengal Cat in the Newport area

Samson, a 2 year old brown rosetted Bengal Cat has recently gone missing. He was last seen on Friday 20th November 2009 in Caerleon, Newport NP18 postcode area.

Samson is microchipped – any vet will scan him free of charge to confirm his owner’s details.
He is also neutered and cannot be used for breeding.
He was wearing a brown leather studded collar with a bell and magnetic cat flap opener although these might have been lost or removed by now.
If you see a cat that looks like Samson, please try and take a photo on your camera or mobile phone so that his owners can see it if he is gone when they get there.
Do you know anyone who might have started feeding him or adopted a new cat around the time of Samson’s disappearance?
Samson could have been locked in your shed or garage by accident please check thoroughly.

Bengal Cat found in Malpas, Cheshire

Today a large neutured male bengal cat was brought in to Hampton Veterinary Centre. He has been hanging around a local farm for 2 weeks, he is not known to anyone in the local area. He is very friendly and vocal, he is microchipped but not registered!!. The veterinary centre is located 12 miles south of Chester,Cheshire in a village called Malpas. If you know of anyone missing such a beautiful cat please let the veterinary centre know on 01948 820345.

Strong visitor numbers for August

After the seasonal dip in May and June, and probably not helped by the economic downturn, we’re happy to report an extremely strong set of website stats for August:

The number of pages viewed was 123,932 – our highest ever !
The number of visits to the wesbite was 20,121, the highest since January.
The number of unique visitors to the site was 11,792

We’ve just started on another round of website promotion as well, which we hope with further increase visitor numbers over the coming months.
